Course Descriptions

Computer Robotics

Picture
Introduction to Robotics is a hands-on project based course that introduces students to the world of autonomous mechanical systems and the computer systems used to control them. The course exposes students to basic programming, mechanical systems, engineering design processes and collaborative work systems. Robotics gives students the opportunity to develop skills and understanding of course concepts through activities, projects, and problem-based learning. This course is designed to challenge students to continually hone their interpersonal skills, creative abilities, and problem solving. It also allows students to develop strategies to enable and direct their own learning.

Introduction to Engineering Design is one of the foundation courses in the Project Lead The Way (PLTW) high school engineering program. The course applies and concurrently develops secondary level knowledge and skills in mathematics, science, and technology.
